Royal Darwin Hospital Reseal Windows & Lift Shaft Expansion Joints

C and R Constructions were contracted to gain access and reseal the window frames and glass to the Eastern and Western walls of the main ward building.  We gained access using a swinging stage to complete the works commencing at the top and working our way down.  As an added service all glazing and aluminium frames were thoroughly cleaned once a level was completed.

Shortly after the above works commenced we were awarded the contract to reseal the expansion joints to the main lift tower and therefore were able to utilise the swinging stage platform.  This saved valuable time in lieu of setting up scaffolding and both lots of works were completed in an efficient and timely manner within a week of each other.
