Murray Street was a fabulous home renovation. This old style Darwin home was given a major face lift based on the owners love of the sea. The extensions designed from a nautical theme were brought to life in the form of a ship with some unique touches. Entrance doors were brass plated encasing antique portals. Stainless steel balustrades frame glass panels around the new tiled balcony, leading into a staircase and landing that depicts the deck and bow of the ship and stained slatted wooden panels enclosing the new garage create the feeling of the ship’s hull.

Internally the main living area wall was removed and replaced with floor to ceiling sliding glass panels. Modern lights and fans were installed along with a new kitchen. A new technique was used to create a washed rock look for the new driveway flowing well with the ocean theme. This was an amazing transformation that the owners are extremely happy to call home.
