  • Location: Leanyer, NT
  • Client: Private
  • Contract Value: $370K
  • Completion Date: December 2012

Ridgehaven Circuit was a huge home renovation and a fantastic transformation from an old Darwin style house to a very modern, tastefully designed home. Most of the existing inside amenities were removed along with all the old flooring. This renovation was also designed to increase the house size. A new laundry was built off the front end of the house and the back end was opened up and a split level extension was added giving the owners a new master bedroom with a trendy ensuite. Curving shower screens, fancy tap ware and dark textured feature tiles make this room a highlight. Beyond the stairs a living area with a small kitchenette, another bedroom with full length mirrors, wardrobe and modern ensuite. A new kitchen was installed and the old bathroom given a major overhaul with the same modern appeal as the new bathrooms. The house was painted throughout, and timber skirtings and architraves stained mahogany, giving a very homely feel. New security screens installed, the exterior rendered and also painted. This renovation would lead you to believe this amazing home had just been built.

The existing living areas were gutted and a new retro kitchen was installed.  The bathroom featured charcoal skin tiles in the shower recess providing a real wow factor.  New timber flooring was laid in the main living areas and existing concrete floors polished.  A fresh new laundry was built, along with a new garage and fabulous front entrance, finished with the exposed aggregate driveway.

The pool area received a major facelift with a new pool house constructed and surrounding areas concreted and tiled.  This exceptional property was given a fresh and modern exterior look with 80% of the house rendered.

 Murray Street

  • Location:  Darwin, NT
  • Client: Private
  • Contract Value: $520K
  • Completion Date: October 2010

Murray Street was a fabulous home renovation. This old style Darwin home was given a major face lift based on the owners love of the sea. The extensions designed from a nautical theme were brought to life in the form of a ship with some unique touches. Entrance doors were brass plated encasing antique portals. Stainless steel balustrades frame glass panels around the new tiled balcony, leading into a staircase and landing that depicts the deck and bow of the ship and stained slatted wooden panels enclosing the new garage create the feeling of the ship’s hull.

Internally the main living area wall was removed and replaced with floor to ceiling sliding glass panels. Modern lights and fans were installed along with a new kitchen. A new technique was used to create a washed rock look for the new driveway flowing well with the ocean theme. This was an amazing transformation that the owners are extremely happy to call home.
